I was so happy yesterday when I spotted this adult blue tit in the trees with a bug in it's beak. It looked like there was a surviving baby still in the nest. This little bird took ages to actually go to the nest - he was being very cautious - and who could blame him?
Finally he went to the hole in the wall and I was thrilled with my next capture - see my extras folder. I feel so relieved that it looks like there is at least one little baby still alive. I have had the boys on the lead in the garden since and am not letting them off until I am sure the baby has fledged and is safe off the ground.
