The problem with Westies and Cairns is that they are too close to the ground and their coats are too long! Does he like the bath? Jinks absolutely detests it and I get soaking wet too.

His problem is his legs are too shrt and he is too near the ground so the mud splashes up when its really wet. I could just take him path walking but he gets so much fun out of running free on the playing field with his pals!! It also gets rid of some of his energy!!
@amyspada Thanks Amy - Finlay is very good when i bath him - he just stands there and lets me do it and then at the end has an enormous shake!! He does look sorry for himself though!!
@gphelps5 Actually the mud today was rock hard as it was trying to snow. He needed a bath as he was sooooo smelly!!
Ah that explains why somebody once thought my Cairn terrier (aka Jinks) was a dirty Westie. At the time I was not amused!
