Pushing it a bit but it is very hot and humid and this red kite is floating around on the thermals. I was ironing things for my hols and I could hear the kites calling each other. Grabbed my camera and luckily had my 100-400mm lens on. Still very high but I was so pleased to get this shot as he was just about to cross the contrails. Oh could that be an air-bridge? Two topics in one!! LOL!!
Many thanks to everyone for their lovely comments and best wishes. Throat still sore but ignoring it - well I am on holiday tomorow and I refuse to be ill on my holiday!!
