Topic of the Day - Cow
(Looks better large against black if you have time)
Well here I am in Derbyshire staying in a Farmhouse on a working farm. I was told there would be no cattle near the house - twice - i was concerned as Finlay is pertrified of cows and horses. They forgot to say that the field right next door to the house belongs to another farm and their cows are in that field. Finlay barks everytime he sees them!! This one was very interested in him and finally the whole heard came over to put their heads over the wall!! I had to take Finlay indoors!!
The house itself is beautiful but too close to smelly cows and therefore lots of flies!! I think I am a city girl at heart!!
Today is the first time I have been able to load a photo up as the WiFi says it is connected but when you try to do anything it drops out and says Error!! Fingers crossed this upload works!! I have missed you all dear 365 friends!! I think I will be catching up properly when I get home.
By the way we arrived Saturday and did not see the sun until monday afternoon. Yesterday we had violent storms and localised flooding!! I was hoping to get some landscape shots this week but the weather has not been very kind so far!! Never mind we are having a lovely time chilling out!!
Oh what a wonderful shot! I'm sure, had it been Jinks in that position, I'd have been too much of a nervous wreck to take a photo. I know what you mean, and agree, about the benefits of city, or at least suburban, life!
@kittikat thanks for great comment and Fav Kitti! Very much appreciated! I have to be so careful when walking Finlay down the lane as the cows have been there and I just managed to stop him from a complete head dive into a cow pat this morning! Naughty Finlay! Lol!
