We had a wonderful walk at the Goyt Valley and Finlay even went paddling in the river. He really loved it. As we were walking back to the car a young girl and her grandfather came up out of the valley and were walking in front of me. The girl was telling her Grandfather she needed a hill as she had thought of another pose for him to photograph. I watched them and caught this shot of her posing for her granddad. I then started talking to them and asked if she would pose for some shots for me. Her granddad was so proud of her and had been trying to get shots of her with his point and shoot. He was delighted that I wanted to take some shots of her. The young girl then did lots of ballet poses and leaps for me and I managed to get some lovely shots of her. I will post a couple of them in my Extras Album. I have taken her email and will send all the shots I took to her. She wanted something for her FaceBook page and I think she will be pleased.
Wonderful! I am sure that she will be delighted. Unfortunately it isn't something that I would feel too comfortable with - asking parent or guardian if I could photograph their little girl! I'd probably end up on the sexual offenders register for even thinking of photographing them!
