2nd September 2013 - At the car wash

I went to the car wash where they hand wash your car and valet the inside for £10 - great value I think if you could have seen the mess in my car!! Anyway As the Polish chaps started to wash the car I took a few shots through the window of them "at work" for todays shot. When they had finished washing I got out of the car for them to valet the inside and said was it ok for me to take photos of them working for my project. I am not sure any of them understood what I actually said but there was a collective shaking of heads!! I didn't take any more shots and have given this one a filter treatment to soften the chaps face. I don't think they wanted their photos taken!! I wonder why? LOL!!

Gosh you were brave!!! He doesn't look amused. We have a car wash just the same here manned by polish chaps who are very hardworking and very polite.

I've never got much courage when it comes to taking photos of strangers that close...I normally rely on zoom!
