As I stalked the Egret along the beach he kept taking off and landing just a bit further along. I think he was teasing me!! Such a lovely sight but so frustrating I couldn't get a closer shot even with my "big boy" lens!! Oh how I would love a longer lens - but then I wouldn't be able to carry it!! No pleasing me!! LOL!!
I know what you mean about the longer lens...I was happy with the 100-400 for awhile but now I find myself pining for something larger! Though, the idea of having to use a tripod in my bird photography does not appeal to me at the moment!
