I think this is a Migrant Hawker or maybe a Common Hawker - they are very similar. If there is anyone who can correctly identify that would be great!! I am so thrilled I have finally got my dragon flight shot - well I have about 20 shots and in the end found it hard which one to choose!! I was walking Finlay beside the lake at Wollestone and the air was full of these dragons and they kept hovering right in front of me!! Yes Yes yes!!!! I am so pleased as I have been waiting all summer for a flight shot.

26/9/13 Just thought I would have a browse of the PP which I don't normally do and there was this shot of the dragonfly!! I am so thrilled it is there - thank you everyone for your comments and Favs which got it there. This one has especially pleased me as I was so delighted to finally get my dragon flight shot!!
@pixiemac Thanks so much Sarah I really appreciate the Fav! I Just love that lens!! I had it on A1servo and I can shoot 3fps with the Canon 5D mark11. I spotted the dragon hovering and managed to get loads of shots in focus!! Yippee!!
