Topic of the Day - Button
(He does look better large)
I apologise for this but I have been hunting for my box of buttons which I know is somewhere in this house but I just can't find it. Finlay was in the garden and I was watching him having a drink from the birdbath after having a good chew on the leg of lamb bone I gave him. I suddenly thought "Button nose" - that's what I will take - so rushed indoors to get the camera. By the time I got out again Finlay had buried the remains of the lamb bone and his button nose was black with mud!! I have tried to catch him but he knows he is going to get a face wash and keeps running round the garden!! He really is a naughty boy!! LOL!! Anyway I will still use his button nose for today's topic.
22/10 How lovely I have just seen Finlay on the PP!! Many thanks to everyone for your great comments and Favs!! I dug up the bone this morning to stop Finlay doing it and when I turned round he had dug up a mini jumbone he had buried somewhere else!! Do they taste better if they have been buried for a few days?
@suesmith@cleopatra@rosiekind@carolmw@gerry@eyesmile Thank you all so much for your lovely comments and Favs!! I managed to catch the little darling and stood him in the sink to wash his face and feet!! He enjoyed the brisk rub with the towel!! I will dig up the bone myself tomorrow and get rid of it otherwise we will have to go through it all again when he digs it up!! LOL!!
Barney, our dog always used to bury his Jumbones.......so yep, think they must taste better......trouble was Barney buried them vertically, then always came in with a pile of mud on his nose.......such a giveaway!!
Finlay is such a character, he must be great fun to be around
