So pleased to see the return of my little robin today. I just managed to get a few shots off when the white tornado raced out into the garden and chased him off. Finlay knows as soon as I pick up the camera there will be a bird to chase in the garden. So naughty. I am hoping the robin will not be put off by Finlay.
Many thanks for your great comments on yesterday's shots many of them very useful and helpful.
Just seen this is on the PP! Many thanks to you all for getting it there!
This is a beautiful capture. I love seeing the differences between your Robin and ours. Love the textures, the Woden rail the softness of the birds feathers and the wonderful garden colors. Fav.
So well detailed, and so well framed. I like your choice of DoF so we can still tell it's a hydrangea behind the bird, but the soft focus sets off the clarity of the bird so well.
Gorgeous, I love the detail of the bird and the composition with the hydrangeas in the background. A fav. As I write this, I am hoping you are on your holiday and having a great time.
@sansjuan thank you Nita! Yes arrived yesterday after 7 hour drive (my knees, have given up!). The thatched cottage is fabulous with views over a lake. Picking my niece and her 2 little girls up this morning to stay with us. I am so looking forward to having some lovely time together in such a beautiful place!
Congrats on this making it to PP, Pam! Well done!
