Mears Ashby Village (HDR) by pamknowler

Mears Ashby Village (HDR)

I had another play with HDR today. This is the village of Mears Ashby - such a quaint pretty place with the church standing higher on the hill. It really is tempting to overdo the HDR effect as it can look so colourful - but so unreal. I think I managed to restrain myself in this shot.

My other HDR shot http://365project.org/pamknowler/extras/2013-12-12

Many thanks to you all for putting my red berries and bokeh shot on the PP!! Three shots on the PP at the same time - so thrilled!! Thank you all!!

Uploaded for my Extras album
Superb HDR photo! Love the composition with the curved wall leading in and wrapping around the scene.

This is what HDR was meant to be, and the village is charming. I remember the fun and challenge of driving these narrow streets in England when I lived there in the 60's. Three on PP? WOW!

REally nicely processed -- no over the top to this at all, just perfect clarity.
