I think this was the best shot of the afternoon as far as conversion to B&W go. As the ball is against the lighter green you can see it here. Still not convinced I have gained anything by converting. Again perhaps selective colouring of the ball would help the shot.

I like it in B&W but in this case I feel like the color gives it more impact. Nicely done.

They are both good shots Pam, but to my eye the colour version is better. I found the very black background too heavy for my liking and it tended to swallow the remainder of the shot.

I think I'm with Marnie on this one. Nice shots, I much prefer the colour. I find the contrast of black and white a bit strong.
