17th September 2015 - Orchid in the window

For my Mentoring Group - B&W with artificial light.

Still using the Macro Twin Lite flash I took this orchid which is sitting on the window ledge with bright sky behind it. I was pleased how the flash brought out the detail as the flowers actually looked quite dark with the bright back lighting.

Having fun today taking flowers in the garden and indoors using the macro twin lite flash. Wow what a difference the flash makes!

Amazing! I love the details on this -- and I like the way the focal flower shares shape with the others but really stands out otherwise. Very cool!
