27th September 2015 - Did you leave this for me?

Sea Gulls have become a real pest and there have been lots of reports of them attacking people to make them drop their fish and chips or other food as they are walking along eating. This gull did at least wait for the people to get up from the table before he landed and finished off any leavings. They are very large gulls!!

We had a lovely lunch sitting in the pub garden in Rye. A beautiful sunny day and very sheltered in the garden. We have been very lucky with the weather this weekend!!

Uploaded for my extras album

So pleased to see this on the PP! Many thanks for getting it there!
What a cheeky devil! Unfortunately they learn quite quickly where to get an easy meal from!

My granddaughter loves to feed the gulls and I know that just encourages their bad habits but we go anyway. I always remember the story of how they trained the wild gulls to eat food from people's hats for Hitchcock filming the Birds, but when the filming was over it took a long time for them to stop landing on random people's heads.

I have to admit I quite like gulls - I admire the way they fit in with humans and take advantage of us! Great picture.

They are scavengers and learn fast how to get their free meal. Wonderful capture of this one enjoying the remains.

Great capture, but they can be a very big pest. They don't seem to be scared of people at all.

Good shot of the seagull but they are a nuisance - can break plates and drop food all over the ground which looks so untidy!
