I always find it sad as the leaves turn a golden/reddish colour and then fall to the ground. My lawn is covered with these leaves and I am raking them up daily. I will be sad though when they have all fallen and just the bare branches are left. I do like the burst of colour this plant has. I can't remember the name of the plant at the moment - bad news I used to know the names of all the shrubs in my garden!! LOL!! Update: the plant is called Cotinus - I got the gardening book out!!
Beautiful colours Fav My pointsetta is now getting red leaves on the top. It has lasted amazingly well and I can't understand how it knows to change colour in time for Christmas as it's in the conservatory. I am still enjoying your lovely present
