This is my Slipper Orchid and I just had to share this. The large bud has popped open this morning and it looks like a lid has opened. I love this orchid and am looking forward to when it opens fully. What is unusual there is another bud underneath this large one. Not seen that before.
I have had this orchid for a number of years now - it was a Manager's bargain at the end of the season and had been reduced to £1. What a bargain as it has flowered every year since!!
