Chrysanthemum in B&W by phil_sandford

Chrysanthemum in B&W

This was my 'Little Yellow One" from 17 January. Almost dead now (boy, I've had value from that bunch of flowers) cut off, arranged in the light box and shot in B&W

I've resisted challenges since starting the 365project, concentrating on taking photogrsphs, seeing the shot and getting my cameras off the A serting.
I like B&W photography (and macro) and have had a look at the 'flashofred2017' challenge in the discussions area and have decided to give it a go. I don't believe it will always work (flowers in b&w for instance - not everybody's cup of tea) but I'm using the project to grow and learn 😜

Looks, if I may say so, not that bad on black
Beautifully composed and edited Phil but personally I do not like flowers in B/W . nothing personal Phil , just a little quirky behaviour of mine !!

@beryl Thanks Beryl; I'm not convinced by it either to be honest.

It came out really well - you certainly got every penny back from those flowers! Who needs florists??

An interesting capture Phil but I'm definitely with Beryl @beryl on this one.

I like the processing. Flowers are a fav to photograph in b&w or color - especially this time of year.
