Resident Robin by phil_sandford

Resident Robin

Our Robin (not one of the 2 interlopers currently invading his territory) perched on the Forsythia Tree waiting his turn at the feeders.

Cold, wet, wintery day here in the Shire, not much birdlife around (though the squirrel has been seen wandering between the new location of the bird-bath and the feeder trying to work out why he can't jump it anymore (and I note he has found a new way of launching himself off the Magolia Tree and landing on top of the feeder, often with no sucess))
A lovely capture. Cold and wintery here in mid Wales too.

I'm pleased to hear you are making it difficult for the squirrel to reach the bird food. Keep up the good work !

@susiemc @beryl @cottiac @boatman137 @paul10 @johnsutton @dawnee @gilbertwood @lynne5477 @milaniet @happysnaps @lyndamcg Thank you all for your views and comments. THe Robin is a good fallback subject when you have nothing else for the day; he's always obliging (though wish he'd sit still for a bit longer).
