Bursting into Flower

In the time it took me to find my camera and get the right lens on, this Poppy had almost lost its cap as it opened up in the warm morning sunshine.

We drove past three fields full of poppies today! I had permission to stop, but chose to enjoy with eyes and heart, not view finder ( maybe tomorrow?!). Glorious colour and dof
