young aquilegia plants with 'water' droplets

it's taken me a couple of weeks to realise what these young plants are: aquilegia or 'granny's bonnets' which spread over our garden every year
Yes they are perking through in my garden too !! ( but this morning covered over with snow yet again !! ) Love the perfect water droplets the are so clear >

@lellie Thanks, I've waited to remember what the plants are before taking the shot - every time it rains they look pretty with droplets.

Not a sign of those in our garden. We do have plenty , they seeds them self. Nice of you to give the Latin name . I copy them to Wikipedia and know the plant

@pyrrhula

Yes, nice plants and we have several colours but when they stop flowering they get a bit untidy (that's something I don't like about gardening!) and they can get greenfly too.

Lovely shot with the water droplets. I love aquilegia but no matter what colours I have planted I only end up with purple the following year. Just as well its my favorite colour!

I love granny bonnets, had some once but they died out - I blame drought conditions, love the water drops and can't wait to see them flowering.
