As you see, first we had a snack in the pub. I'm not sure why Jackie was sitting in front of the fire door but I decided that the task to clone out the notice was too onerous.
Next we went into the Hospital of St Cross and Almshouse of Noble Poverty for a wander around the Master's garden, a look in the Norman church and a tour of the old kitchen, Brethren's Hall etc. At some point we had a cup of tea in the Hundred Men's Hall.
And as we went in to St Cross I met Anne, who was stranger No.123, and by good fortune, the Master of St Cross who also kindly agreed to participate in my project - more of that tomorrow.
Thank you so much, Jackie, for coming to meet me - a lovely Sunday afternoon.
Another 365 meet up, how wonderful these meet ups are Hazel, if only you were nearer! Jackie looks a happy photographer too, a expect you had fun & she would be interested to see the brothers house as I would be!
