Machine vise

This was Clare's dad's machine vise, milling vise or drill press vise. According to my sister's husband, “It’s made to be bolted to a mill or a drill press. It won’t be good for wood working or holding large stock, but it might work well for what you want to do with it.” As I replied to him, mostly I looked forward to having a third hand for repairing small items!
