Aww! Sweet, sweet shot!

@marlboromaam Another less-than-sharp shot from the dying lens. I am not going to try to coax any more images from the lens; it's too frustrating. Repair would probably be $100+ for an entry-level-quality lens: I'm not interested in that. If I get more bug traffic in the gardens from what I've planted this year and decide to invest in a long zoom lens, then I'll upgrade from this one. A post for this week (posted in a couple weeks since I'm catching up but still behind?) may be that lens disassembled. :)

@rhoing You got a clear image with your 60mm lens from what I could tell the other day. Won't that work for a while?

@marlboromaam The 60mm lens requires more patience than I have right now. One has to get much closer with that short a lens and often the subject flies away or to another location. :-\

@rhoing I hear ya! That's why I can't get real close to the butterflies with my cheap little camera.
