Whereas, my 55–250mm lens has died; Whereas, I do not have the patience to approach butterflies with a 60mm lens only to have them fly away; Whereas, plants and flowers do not ever fly away; Therefore, be it resolved that I will redirect my outdoor snapping to plants and flowers.

Nice shot. This shot of the flower is very pretty. In regards to the insect/bugs etc, be patient with your 60mm lens. It is a great lens and sometimes you have to be a little lucky that the insects stay. Keep trying and have FUN!
