Mulching done for another year

It was 15ish bags, I think. Every time I do it, I think this is the last time I’m doing it myself. And here I am another year.

But the spreading of the mulch is not the most onerous part of the whole process. That title belongs to the prepping of the beds: weeding them.

For my purposes (family > genus > species)—
Left to right:
  • Oleaceae > Forsythia sp.
  • Rosaceae > Rosa > Rosa 'Radrazz'
  • Oleaceae > Syringa (Lilac) sp.
