@marlboromaam In bad need of new cars! My brother lives in Michigan; he drove five hours to a dealership in Cleveland to get the new car he wanted! Couldn't find one any closer.

@rhoing It's the same everywhere! They're waiting on new parts from China! So much for outsourcing manufacturing.

@marlboromaam Yep. This has been a fascinating lesson in global economic interdependence. While it may be tempting, the takeaway should not be the knee-jerk reaction to bring everything home. There are things we should export but there are still things that we should import. Our exports pay for our imports, so if you stop importing, your export markets will dry up in response. Another situation to be very, very careful what you ask for!

@rhoing No one with Ford at the dealership is happy about it. I just hope nothing breaks down on my Escape that they have to wait on parts for it or I'm SOL.
