Today the keys — on the table near the candle — were passed to the new owner. As I recall (7½ months later), there was a page of names-and-phone numbers to call for maintenance and repairs … the implication or reminder being that Habitat for Humanity no longer owns the property. In other words, “Congratulations; you’re now a homeowner.” ;)
