“Shelter from the Storm”

[With apologies to Dylan.]
We had rain last night and this moth found “shelter from the storm” on our front [storm] door. I don’t think there is any hope of an ID as the backlighting mutes all the markings and I didn’t get a shot from the other side. Nevertheless, the experts have sometimes been amazing with IDs, so I have submitted to Butterflies and Moths of North America. I do find the bottom view rather interesting.
