my living room! i have a set of four dumbells (one kilo and half a kilo) which i brought with me from europe and i use them most mornings along with a long pole for my stretches.
i used to go to some fitness place or gymnasium but i always ended up getting sick, no matter how much disinfectant i applied on the equipment which, mind you, could be very smelly and gross. so these days i just stick to my old exercise regimen, the regimen that i was taught back in the early eighties when i jumped from 78 lbs to 135 in a year's time. it worked for me before, there's no reason it can't work for me now. exercise is all about self-discipline; okay, i'm a little bit lax with myself, but i always make up for it with long walks... and a bar of chocolate. :-)
thank you all for your kind views and comments; know that they are truly appreciated. also thank you for your concern about my back problems. i still can't sit down for a long time, and now i just have to learn to watch out how i do things, because i was reminded by the doctor that i'm not young anymore. :-P
Good POV and perspective! I like to get out for lots of long walks throughout the week to help stay in shape. I know I should do more but I would rather take photos!
@pamfromcalgary - thank you, pam. i could walk for hours when i'm taking pics and i don't even feel hungry. i can't wait til the warm weather, i'd be wearing off another pair of sneakers. partner is thankful i can't bike or he'd never find me!
nice shot. We really should do more of this but I usually feel so tired by the time I get home from work that I feel that I have already worked out. :)
78 pounds.... Good golly, my granddaughter is bigger than you. You are borderline pixie my friend... I envy anyone who can be faithful to exercise... Nice shot too.. and good to have that energy boosting chocolate at the end.. ;-)
