we wanted to celebrate with the mad hatters so we organized our own tea party. we had cupcakes and tea and we invited some of the animals we could find, especially the turtles. and since it is valentine's day tomorrow, we thought we'd include that in, too.
now, over at 365 toy group, we told you that mr. padraigh penwyn had proposed to the pretty katsuko (a.k.a. katy) but she said she'd give her answer at this our party. see mr. penwyn proposing to katy here: http://365project.org/365toygroup/365/2015-02-13
so while mr. penwyn and katy are dancing on the pink marshmallow dance floor, we suddenly hear a loud, spine-tingling wail and we turn around and mr. penwyn is down on the floor. why? because katy has given him a resounding NO to his proposal. katy says she would like a husband who is taller than her and not as vain as mr. penwyn.
so we proceed to eat the cupcakes and have fun as we tease katy and call her 'queen of heart-breaker', while captain nemo and hobson the butler haul mr. penwyn away, still singing his song.
and by the way, we wish our mad hatter friends "happy unbirthday".
Oh no! Poor Penwyn! My heart is bleeding for him right now! It will be a sad Valentine's Day indeed for him! Such an elaborate set up for this heartbreaking moment.
Hmmm, I don't even see Mr. padraigh penwyn in this image. Poor guy, I can understand the wail. Ms Katy, you should have known that size doesn't matter. I guess I didn't know Mr.padraigh penwyn was vain.
My head just exploded. I missed an entry in the toys theme this week. This is one of those pictures that I can sit and look at for a long time and see something new constantly.
this is so much fun. Go Katy!!!! And then she enjoyed the party!! That's my kind of gal. I was going to comment on the height differential, but decided that might be a bit discriminatory.
@francoise - not for me, at least. working in lawfirms for more than 20 years, i've known so many of them who suffer from SMS ( short men syndrome) and the shorter they come the more pompous they are. maybe i should develop padraigh's character some more. :-)
I just posted one for the big bash too.
