i was going to walk down to the lake because the ice on its surface was melting and there might not be another cold blast our way but as usual, i was lazy to go out even though it was a balmy +6 around lunchtime. actually i just forgot what it was to i had to do at lunchtime. all i could remember was that it was important. well, there's still tomorrow.
This is a marvelous photo demonstrating texture, tones, patterns and shading! And of course the lovely shades of purple! (In black and white) Oh... and glad your temps are improving! Nearly time to get the bikini out?
love the graduated changes from right to left. A great and appealing bit of texture. The lake will just have to wait. I wonder how important the important things was (...I do that all the time - infact I have just cancelled my lunchtime wonder in favour of a bit of commenting, but suspect there is something important lurking about in my head).

I like how the light moves across the thread. Not bad for an "I'm too lazy to take a walk shot"! Actually I don't blame you- I am not going out in the cold either.
