this is from last october when the northster and i went to take in the art show 'nuit blanche', another excuse for torontonians to get out and party at night. this is a rather large-ish installation, called "synapses", a multi-media installation, made up of large-scale colourful plexiglass and mirrors; it was inspired by how tree roots communicate underground.
i was quite surprised when i uploaded this as i didn't realize that was the northster that was giving the shot the scale and perspective to the installation; this even after i had cropped and processed the shot so that the left part is in black and white.
Fabulous to see her giving scale to your photo and what a creative idea to do black and white and color. I may be stealing that before the end of the month because it certainly worked out well for you here.
