on my way to the bookstore, i took this picture of the Hockey Hall of Fame building. now, i'm not a hockey fan, but i love old buildings or old-style buildings. this building is in the heart of the financial district in downtown Toronto and it is starkly juxtaposed with the modern buildings and glass towers. this picture does not do much justice to that juxtaposition because i was walking when i took this, plus this place is supposed to be one of the busy intersections in downtown and the sidewalks are slippery today.
i took about a hundred photographs today during my trek to the bookstore and back to the office, but in the end i chose this posting, because it is so clear the building looks like it's embossed on the screen.
