ten years ago, i unearthed this hatbox from the attic of the farmhouse that belonged to my ex-partner's parents in brantford, ontario. XP wanted to get rid of it, as it is large, ugly and smelly (i could imagine what he was to do with me if i had become that!) but i would have none of that nonsense. so it sits on top of my bookshelf collecting more dust. i mean, the sucker is probably more than a hundred years old - it belonged to his mother's grandparents; his mother was born in 1907 and died in 2003 (may she rest in peace).
he's laughing at me for wanting it but no matter, i'm keeping it. why, because i can.
@slang - sean, thank you so much. i only know how to apply two or three frames and one or two effects. most of the time i don't know what i'm clicking, but for this one, i knew what i wanted.
@summerfield Just play around with all of the effects. If you don't like the one you picked then just hit the Undo button on the top right. You're doing great though.
@meggageg - i used to own a number of hats - wide brimmed, pill box, fedora, and i love berets. but the winds always cramped my style so i stopped wearing them, not to mention they flatten my hair silly. i do have a newer hat box. this old one i'm keeping for posterity's sake (plus it may cost a lot of money someday by the time i retire!).
