going home from our niagara trip, there were dark clouds hovering over downtown toronto and vicinity. but in the west, the setting sun was shining brightly and was reflected on the building up ahead. it was quite blinding and yet pleasant to see; i guess anytime we see the sun, especially during the winter time, it is a pleasant thing to see. but fret not, the days have started to get longer and soon, we will get into another spring and summer.
sorry, folks, filler day today. busy day at the office and it was too cold to get out at lunchtime, plus the sidewalks are a tad icy and slippery.
Great pov, summerfield. Love that "golden" building which the sun has so kindly lit up! Beautiful welcome home for you. Fillers are always fine in my book. Who cares? It's still a photo . . why should the date matter. :) And watch out for the ice, girl.
Beautiful cityscape Summerfield! My final picture is beginning to form in my mind. Nothing spectacular or overly symbolic, but a summary of what is and what is to come.
@karenann - thank you, karenann. you're always so kind to me. and barring a thermo nuclear explosion, no, i'm not quitting. so there, you're spared from begging. there's so many things to learn. just have a few goals maybe, like knowing how to properly use the darn camera.
@myautofocuslife - thank you, livia. as always, finishing a project, especially a long term one, is exciting as ever. it has been fun and i've "met" so many wonderful people in here, too.
this is just gorgeous friend. love that gold down the end of the road. just realised you are nearly finished, but you are continuing right? cos you wouldn't leave us would you? will beg if necessary...
there is so much i like about this shot. the building on the right, with all the semi-closed curtains- love the image it portrays. the one with the sun, oh my, what a stunning pop it adds. so clean and crisp, with wonderful reflections on the left building, awesome sky, too. fav from a country-fried woman.
@esha - thank you, esh. and thanks, too, for the follow. i shall check yours out in a bit.
@sarasdadandmom - one of the things i learned over the course of this year is to be able take photos (clear and straight) while the car is running at 119 kilometres per hour. thank you, terry.
