how do you make an otherwise plain apple turnover into something sinfully delicious? in my household, vanilla ice cream is not a welcome commodity. i mean, if one has to indulge why not go all the way for rocky road or heavenly hash or butter pecan or rum&raisin flavours? but since i don't have any of those right now in my freezer, i'm settling for chocolate caramel cup - a scoop, or two (the scoop is quite small :-)) and drizzle it with maple syrup. too sweet, but i'm not the one who's eating this. i'm going to slice me a ripened mango.
note: best viewed large. but you've been warned: it looks so real and so sumptuous, you'd be craving sweets for days.
@jannkc - and i love a warm apple crumble pie from the country, really tastes home-made, with a big scoop of butter pecan. oy! heaven! thank you, jann.
@slang - i...er...uhm...i didn't go there, i swear! this just turned up on my table. i didn't even eat this. and it's too late to be setting up shots! hahahaha! thank you, sean.
@karenann - oh yeah! hahahaha! i must say, though, karenann, that in asia, there is a fruit, so sweet and delicious, but you'd know it from a mile away when someone opened one. it stinks like hell! it's called durian. that was delicious and smelly. i, of course, eat the treated and candied ones, not the raw one. can't stand the smell. thank you, karenann.
@danig - yes, okay, but this was last night. you're too late. it's been eaten, digested and most probably processed! and you've got to be here. so come here, already! thank you, DG.
wonderful shot. i like vanilla on apple pie. fudge ripple is my choice most times, but since i am not supposed to have it, seem to love most all of it. isn't that always the way?
@tklein - thank you, tina. don't tease me, i never say no to dessert!
