this is the same venue as yesterday's post. i was at the office today to finish off some work; i looked out the window and i saw the trees were lit so i took a little detour to the courtyard before i boarded the streetcar. i would've taken the shot at the exact same spot but i didn't have my tripod and i had to take a much longer shot from a ledge. this is sooc except for cropping the bottom. this angle, however, gives you a different perspective from yesterday's shot but looking at the same direction.
the snow fall has ebbed quite a bit; hopefully it will all melt by tomorrow morning. i feel the need to jog; must be all the rich food i've been having.
thank you for your kind views and comments; i truly appreciate them.
Beautiful colors and love this composition. What really is impressive is that scene in the window and how it's lit up so nicely. Great reflection from the tree on the sidewalk .. wonderful capture. Thank goodness for ledges, eh? One has to make do when there's no tripod around. And you did it, girlfriend. :)
@bkbinthecity - thank you, brian. are you guys home now?
@karenann - thank you, KA. yes, i had a hunch the murals would look beautiful in the evening. when i have time and can drag the man to accompany me, i should like to take a panoramic shot of that mural at night. i was alone at the courtyard and i didn't feel comfortable especially that there was a lot of snow around.
@cheribug - i love snow as long as they don't turn into slush or worse black ice. i hate walking like a fat penguin. thank you, my cheribug.
@tara11 - they are plastic trees, tara. :-) thank you.
I thought about that, summerfield, and wondered if you were alone or if partner was with you. A little worried about you being alone at night. Although I know that "my girl" can usually handle herself quite well." But do be careful.
well - it clearly IS pretty at night... do you not jog in the snow? i do... altho' i've fallen off the jogging thing a bit lately... new years resolution is to get back at it... first thing tomorrow!
@northy - can't jog in the snow, sixty-year olds aren't advised to, i would hate to have my hips or any part of my body replaced. :-) first thing tomorrow, i pig out, then on the 2nd i start again to eat right and to jog along the path (much drier there!). thank you, kiddo.
