Taken at Bicton gardens in Devon. I think the swans and cygnets must be used to being fed by visitors because the minute they saw us they came from the other side of the lake. Sadly we had nothing to feed them with but I did take lots of photos of them.
For several years many people, including me, would feed the geese and the ducks at our local pond but, for the last couple of years they have big signs up asking you to NOT feed them. I’m sure there are good reasons but I feel mean when they come running up to see me and I have nothing to give them.
