High Key Handle by taffy

High Key Handle

We were supposed to to go Beaver Island this weekend but the weather up there is awful and here in Chicago, it was stormy tonite and hot and humid all day. So, inside, looking at door handles with the weekly theme in mind. I'm definitely on a processing kick at the moment so am liking these themes that invite it. The handle is on the pantry door, in brass in real life. Processed in nik suite using silver efex, with some touches from aperture.
Another circles shot in my main album.

Very pretty door handle - we have a similar one, but it's silver. Very nice perspective.

Cool shape! I think I would have liked more in focus, but that's just me. (As for skipping Beaver Island, you were right! We were up in the UP and boy that storm was something!)

@archaeofrog Thanks Katie! i always appreciate your feedback/perspective. I was thinking high key should have a slightly unreal look but may go back and play around with one in sharp focus.

@mzzhope Wow -- thanks for letting me know! This is exciting as it took awhile to figure out how to shoot this, and then the processing took awhile, so cool to have it noticed for this challenge.
