Remember when Danbo and The Beak were sharing secrets last week? (see http://365project.org/taffy/365/2013-10-14) It turns out they were discussing my Get Pushed challenge from Nancy @nanderson about alternative career paths. It turns out that Danbo wishes he could have been a botanist. He and The Beak shared that with me this morning, so I thought I'd do what I could to help Danbo start on his way to achieve his dream. Today, he began by his work studying components of flowers. And, since it is macro-Monday, I told him I'd take a photograph for him to document his research.
@pamknowler I first saw them on the site a few months ago and just searched Danbo on Amazon. I kept an eye on them off and on until the price point dipped a bit (when I first started looking they were about $40.00 and I also couldn't tell whether they came assembled or not). In the end, I was able to order from Amazon for about US$25.00 -- they come in different sizes and mine is the already assembled, small size. They are definitely fun to have for the uninspired days as they have such a cute and fun look to them.
