This ball sits atop the Dallas Hyatt which is the hotel next to the one where I'm staying. We got in late and while Jim ordered room service (starving and hotel restaurants had closed), I ran down with my gorillapod to find a spot for a long exposure. The bellman was very helpful in directing me to a cement wall. Taken for ONS6, Day 2, night shot. Set aperture as low as possible, ISO as low as possible, and used bulb for the long exposure.
On black and large, you can see that each of the spots is a starburst.

@leonbuys83 Interesting that you mention the streetlight. I kept going back on forth as I have some without it, and wondered if it was needed to show just how high that was. But looking at it now, I think I'll remove it as the ball is SO high above the street that the light burst doesn't do what it was supposed to anyway and is distracting. Thanks for your insight.
@leonbuys83@pennyp Thanks for your comments Leon and Penny. I completely agree and the flare is gone. It didn't serve any purpose and was distracting. Thanks again!
