On the perimeter of the children's petting zoo is a farm-type of fence. With the snow and snow melt, I thought it lent itself to two current challenges. The wide angle focus makes the forefront of the fence sharp and blurs it as you move into the frame, while the white fence, white snow, and gray skies cried out for high key. Here's the result. And, it means I've made it another day with my personal challenge to shoot b&w this month.

@bill_fe I'm planning on color splash February too...that's why I'm having a bit of a struggle about committing this whole month to b&w, but it's really challenging me in new ways so I feel like I should keep going. I have to think differently for these shots and since it's year 2, my task for these is to post daily and take the posted shot that day when I can, but I'm keeping a file of potential shots to process in b&w in case the one from the current day doesn't work for bw.
