Black & white bookclub's focus this week is on the creative choices photographers make, such as low or high key or other decisions. This photo began as a fairly ordinary shot of slushy grounds, with partly cloudy skies. Most interesting to me were the patterns of the snow covered trees and the lines of water running from the melting snow. I raised the brightness and the contrast to try to bring out those patterns. To me it seemed to also bring out the leading lines formed by the sides of the path and the water flow with its branches.
@jo13@elaine55 Thank you both for your comment about my improvements. I so respect your work, that it means a lot to me. I do feel I've learned SO much from the site. I'm glad that there are a number of us who have continued along the journey!
love the contrasts.
