This is the view from my office window (with a few bird embellishments and some selective color). I look across a service road, then the Eisenhower Expressway (also known as I-90) and El tracks. You can just make out the condo buildings on the other side of the highway. Note that it is dull, gray, boring, and that this is what it has looked like unendingly this winter. The little birds are my hope for spring to come soon, sometime....
For bw-bookclub's emphasis on artistic choice -- which may not be artistic at all!
Processing: convert to b&w in Aperture, bring back orange warning cone. Export to Color Efex to work on contrasts. Save and export to pic monkey to bring up snow and add birds to match the warning cone. Nice break but now back to work...
The grass is always greener - or maybe that should be the snow is always whiter. We haven't had any snow in the UK so your snow photos always look so pretty and I think how lucky you are. I particularly like the addition of those traffic cone birds.
It does look dreary especially having to live with for days on end. The capture is beautiful and the view is lovely though. Hope to see it again in different weather conditions.
