From yesterday's graduation where we celebrated my stepson's major career shift from cabinet-maker to teacher. I'm proud that he's committing to teaching despite the current environment / attitude toward teachers. Now to find a job!
Thought it fit the weekly theme of looking up -- we could see the balloons wrapped in the ceiling and looked forward to their release. I had my camera ready.

wow, what great focus, congrats to the new teacher!!!!!!!!!!!!! All I can say is hope he doesn't mind all the crappy paperwork, and stays in long enough to have a GREAT retirement package like my husband and I have after 34 years. "Stay focused on the kids." : )
Super shot! My daughter got a teaching job right away - she is very happy and receives lots of love. Honeymoon yes, but I think things are improving in terms of respect!
It's always good to have another teacher among us. I'll certainly hold positive thoughts he finds something quickly. I'm sure CPS is hiring! ;) Kidding...really...just kidding!
Congratulations to your stepson! Good luck on finding a job. It seems like many end up moving to the southern states to find teaching jobs. I am amazed at the quality of this image. The balloons seem to stand out from the background and the pop of the blue ones is incredible! Fav!
