Dead heads

No idea what they are called but I remembered them in bloom last year, and I like them equally as they are now.
teasels? Birds love them and you can cut them, spray them gold/silver for floral arrangements!

Yes Teasel. As a child I remember my mum stopping the car on a busy road to pick them from a grassy bank. Not sure why it stuck in my mind but from then on I knew they were teasels! 😁

Yes they are teasels I used to love doing flower arrangements with them when I lived in the UK. We don't see them in Australia unfortunately.

Teasels - I'm so glad you remembered - isn't it annoying when you can't and you know you should! They have a marvellous texture.

@robz I went and picked a couple yesterday for my little pot, but hadn't realised that the stems were very prickly. Ouch all the way home!
