Little Ivy (5yo) found this moth on the wall of their house so we looked it up and then had a chat about why it was there and was it ok. She was concerned all afternoon that a bird would come along and eat it, and kept checking until bedtime apparently. It has gone today, and Ivy needed just a little reassurance that it was well and has gone to look for food. I love that she is so interested in nature, whereas her sister (7yo) is currently fascinated with space and the universe. They are teaching me lots too.
