Infestation

Standing outside the dentist waiting to be called I for my appointment, I was fascinated by these spindle galls on the lower leaves of the tree. Apologies for the blurred shot, but it was quite windy.

I have never heard of spindle galls, lucky Mr Google is so obliging. I now know they aren't good but they sure are interesting

I had never heard of the m either, and have also googled them. Curious!
