Get Pushed 98 - Through the glass darkly...

This is a final entry for Get Pushed week 98. My partner this week, Deborah @debseibly, challenged me: " How about a concept - 'through the glass'. Any subject that you think fits the theme. Hope you enjoy the challenge."

I wanted to do 'Through the glass darkly', so here it is a fun finish to this challenge and - as a bonus - it's also an entry for ETSOOI 35 - Skies!
@debseibly Hi Deborah, as threatened, here is a final response to your challenge - 'Through the glass'; this time 'Through the glass darkly'.

Thank you, I had fun doing my three photos.

I'm glad to see you were stopped at a traffic light when you took this! I've actually takena few on empty roads when I was driving -- surprised taking pictures while driving isn't against the law like texting and using a cell phone. Maybe not many people do it!.

@catwoman2 The moral is then: don't take pictures from the car with your cell-phone ;-)
June 7th, 2014
@vignouse Yes, that's right -- silly me! And especially don't add the photo to a text message.

Fav! I love the vibrant colors and the tense feel to the traffic! :)

I love the processing here, Richard, and love those pops of red.

came in and this is the first thing that popped up and i literally exclaimed..........woooooooooooooooooooooo!

@nordeancanvas Thank you Odette - your comment gave me a fit of the giggles... all on my own ;-)
June 7th, 2014
@vignouse heheheheheh, well you got me today...i love it, FAV

Had a double take as something looked wrong with the picture, then I remembered you drive on a different side of the road. Phew ! Great image

Okay I have to chime in here because someone gave me heck for taking a photo while I was driving. Won't name names. As for the picture I love it. Playing in Lightroom this morning and beginning to see how you process some of these.

What a great image, perfect for your challenge, I have spent two hours in an almost stationary traffic jam out of Arramanche today, should have got my camera out obviously!
June 7th, 2014
@joansmor OK, I fess up... but I was stationary at the lights. You were driving at night, on the autoroute, in heavy traffic, snowing heavens hard and slush all over the road... I rest my case ;-)

Superb shot, love the processing, lighting and sky
June 7th, 2014
Kim
Love your processing
June 7th, 2014
@kimkyra @graemestevens Thank you both - shame my hand didn't like the processing much - it looks like I have some dreaded skin disease!
June 7th, 2014
total FAV and totally relate as I feel like this a lot on my long work commute !
June 7th, 2014
@judithdeacon You have my commiserations - I pondered going and then decided that I would see more from the comfort of my armchair parked on front of the TV. Hope you had a great time though.
June 7th, 2014
@vignouse Dang I was hoping you wouldn't remember.
June 7th, 2014
Fabulous processing, Richard
June 7th, 2014
Love this Richard!!! fav!!

Richard I too felt something was wrong but couldn't work out, then I read the comment about being on the wrong side of the road. Great image and processing ( except for the hand)! It looks like a very threatening sky.
June 8th, 2014
Great colors and processing.

Interesting pov. Looks an interesting sky through the glass. Katharine

Wonderful - looks like you should be rushing out and building an Ark
June 8th, 2014
@jocasta You're not kidding Joy - you should see the state of our lane after the monster storm two nights ago! The lane was literally a muddy river several inches deep and I only kept it out of the house by repeatedly brushing it away like some demented water dervish... and this at 01.30 am!
June 8th, 2014
Wow, this is great, Richard. Very witty!. I love the processing and certainly the point of view. Personally, I am envious of the dark and stormy sky I am thinking you had fun with it. @vignouse

@debseibly Thank you Deborah, yes it was a fun little OTT exercise but of my three responses to your challenge, this is the one I like the least...
but I have learned since I have been on here, that my taste is rather suspect!

Great processing
