This is the tomb of Leonardo da Vinci who is buried in the Royal Chapel of the Château d'Amboise in the Loire Valley. As I am restricted to a 50mm lens this month for my challenge, I was not able to show the inscription and the plaque at the same time, but I loved the light and the shadows that were falling on his gravestone, so I chose to show just the inscription.
@graemestevens Thanks Graeme - I would have preferred that the image was symmetrical but `i had to hold the camera at arm's length to capture this shot so the framing was a bit hit & miss ;-)
